String of Hens and Chicks
- Water thoroughly and allow the potting mixture to dry completely before watering the plant again.
- Place Houseleeks in a bright, sunny window, preferably a window.
- Provide water sparingly during winter months. Water the plant just enough to moist the potting soil in winter.
- Fertilize string of pearls once a month during spring and summer. Use a general-purpose liquid houseplant fertilizer.
- Place Houseleek plants in average room temperatures.

Water: Water once soil begins to dry. Do not overwater and ensure the plant has proper drainage to prevent root rot.
Temperature: Average house temperatures above 18°C. Needs a minimum of 10°C in winter.
Humidity: Can tolerate some dry indoor air, but does better with a little extra humidity and likes occasional misting with lukewarm water. Brown leaf tips are an indication that the plant is not getting enough humidity.
Feed: Feed with a weak solution every few weeks during the growing season. Do not feed during the winter.

- Water when the top layer of soil is 1-2 inches dry. Touch soil with fingers to check if soil is dry.
- Always give room temperate water.
- Yellow leaves are indication of under watering and Brown edges of a green leaf indicate overwatering.
- Be mindful of fluoride levels in water. Use distilled water is possible.
- Fertilize with indoor fertilizer every 2 – 3 months
