Crassula Rupestris Hanging
Crassula rupestris, commonly known as “Baby’s Necklace” or “Rosary Vine,” is a charming succulent plant that features trailing stems, making it suitable for hanging baskets or cascading over containers.
Plants Care
Light:
Place your Crassula rupestris in a location with bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially morning sun, but avoid intense afternoon sunlight to prevent sunburn on its delicate leaves.
Temperature:
This plant prefers temperatures between 65°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C) during the day and slightly cooler temperatures at night. Protect it from drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.
Watering:
Allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings. Water thoroughly but ensure excess water drains away to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot. In winter, reduce watering frequency as the plant’s growth slows down.
Soil:
Plant your Crassula rupestris in well-draining soil. A cactus or succulent potting mix works well. Adding perlite or coarse sand can further improve drainage.
Fertilizing:
Fertilize sparingly during the growing season, typically from spring to early fall. Use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half-strength and apply it every 4-6 weeks
