CARE
- Drosera loves bright sunlight. Ideally indirect in UAE also likes humidity. Do not place it outside in summer.
- The pot with the plant must always be sitting in pure water. It likes water with low TDS, If the TDS is higher than 100, use distilled, or clean rain water.
- Donot fertilize. If the plant is not catching its own food, it needs to be fed in the traps with live insects, rehydrated dried blood worms, or other kinds of fish food high in insect-derived protein that can be conveniently rehydrated. If you use dead food, the traps need to be massaged to stimulate full closure and digestion

Drosera paradoxa or petiolaris-complex’
Sundew of the petiolaris complex need very hot, humid and lots of direct sun during the summer. This is the period in which they grow the most. In winter they keep to 18 degrees and slow down growth. Better to keep them with artificial lamps and during this dormancy period you leave the pot almost completely dry, otherwise the plant could rot.
Watering
Keeps the plant well wet. To make it really easy, a saucer with ideally distilled water can be placed under the plant. Complete this immediately as soon as it is empty.
Pitch
Place the Drosera in a light spot. When the plant loses its dew, this is an indication that the plant needs a higher humidity. Move the plant to a more humid environment or place a glass over it.
Of the Droseras in our current range, the Drosera filiformis, nidiformis and binata are all hardy. For the rest this does not apply and they must be brought inside before the start of winter.

The Drosera does not need fertilizer.

CARE
- Ideal required temperature is around 60°f / 15.5°c – 75°f / 24°c. Winter no less than 50°f / 10°c.

- Allow top layer of soil to become dry between each watering. use well drained soil media.
- Use heavy pot for Re-pot (spring – summer) when the plant becomes root bound or the soil needs renewing.
- Feed each month with a weak or diluted liquid fertilizer.
- They survive well in quite humid conditions naturally, Succulents like water misting.
